At
the Greeting Farm there's a black and white challenge with a sketch, and here's my entry:
Black and white was tough, but I think this 50's couple goes really well in a monochrome card :) They were fun to color too! I used watercolor pencils in 2 shades of gray and black for the coloring. The "Swing" is actually from the Wild Things -set. The b&w paper is a freebie from the wonderful
Summer Driggs, from the Angel Mother -set - I just printed it in gray scale. Oh, and note the girl, she has some white Sakura Gel on her eye makeup :D
I continued the sketch to the inside too. Note the lovely ribbon - it is actually cut away from a top: you know those wide neck ones that have long loops attached so they can be hanged in the store without stretching...
