Spring fun

Yesterday was another sunny day and Mr. ended up fixing the fence to the neighbours (or adding some height to it) to keep the four-legged Mr. inside our yard. The end result was one tired puppy - who turns 1 year tomorrow by the way.

Eilen oli taas aurinkoinen päivä ja isäntä sai korjattua naapurin pihaa vasten olevan aidan ja lisättyä siihen korkeutta, joten nelijalkainen herrakin sai olla vapaana. Lopputulemana oli hyvin väsynyt koira, joka muuten huomenna täyttää vuoden.



When we got back inside he still had some steam left to pester the cat, who dared to sleep in HIS basket. Which he doesn't much care for, except when the cat is in it.

Kun päästiin takaisin sisälle, virtaa löytyi vielä sen verran, että piti kiusata kissaa, joka makasi HÄNEN korissaan. Koira ei kyllä korista pahemmin itse välitä, paitsi jos siellä on kissa.

Another card, another birthday. Gosh, I really need a new "gratulerer" stamp, this one is getting soo old... The card was for hubby's military friend who turned 30, so I used the ingenious Summer Driggs' Courage papers, which are my definite go-to in male cards. This one is for Mojo Monday #133.

Birthday card / Synttärikortti

Post-Xmas card blaaah is still going on, haven't made anything since the last card I posted. Here is a birthday card I made last week though, the first where I used Versamark / embossing powder -combo. Oh yeah, got myself an embossing gun. A measure of how much I am not in the mood of creating is that I haven't been playing with it at all.



Joulun jälkenen kortti-plääh jatkuu, enkä ole tehnyt mitään sitten viimeksi postaamani. Tässä olisi kuitenkin yksi synttärikortti, joka piti tehdä viime viikolla, ja jossa käytin ensimmäistä kertaa Versamark / kohopulveri -yhdistelmää. Kertonee aika paljon luomisvimman puutteesta, etten ole leikkinyt tuolla embossaus lämppärillä ollenkaan sen jälkeen kun ostin sen joskus helmikuussa.

Today outside / Tänään ulkona

If you really know me, you know how unlikely it is for me to volunteer to go outside especially when it is minus degrees. Today I had to take my camera out, because, well...

















Jos minut tuntee, tietää, miten epätodennäköistä on se, että vapaaehtoisesti lähtisin ulos varsinkin pakkasella. No, tänään oli ihan pakko viedä kamera ulos :)

I still knit, do not worry... I had to get this pattern after having seen the adds running in Ravelry for some time. These are for ME and ME only! The yarn is very lushious merino/silk/cashmere/nylon blend, soft and shiny. I hope it won't pill too bad...

Kyllä täällä yhä kudotaan - tämä ohje oli pakko saada kun hetken aikaa olin ihastellut sitä Ravelryssa mainoksista. Nämä ovat siis minulle ja vain MINULLE! Lanka on ihanan pehmeää ja kiiltävää merino/silkki/kashmir/nylon -sekoitetta, toivon vain ettei se nyppäänny kovin pahasti.

Window-fun / Ikkunahupia

For once I got the camera out without disturbing the animals and managed to capture the situation as intended! Situation = another dog walking outside on the street.

Kerrankin ehätin napata kameran esiin elukoita häiritsemättä ja sain tallennettua tilanteen sellaisena kuin oli tarkoituskin. Ulkona kadulla käveli toinen koira.
