And one more for this evening!

At the Greeting Farm there's a black and white challenge with a sketch, and here's my entry:

Black and white was tough, but I think this 50's couple goes really well in a monochrome card :) They were fun to color too! I used watercolor pencils in 2 shades of gray and black for the coloring. The "Swing" is actually from the Wild Things -set. The b&w paper is a freebie from the wonderful Summer Driggs, from the Angel Mother -set - I just printed it in gray scale. Oh, and note the girl, she has some white Sakura Gel on her eye makeup :D

I continued the sketch to the inside too. Note the lovely ribbon - it is actually cut away from a top: you know those wide neck ones that have long loops attached so they can be hanged in the store without stretching...

Recipe
Papers: Black card stock, Summer Driggs Angel Mother
Images: The Greeting Farm, 50's couple (digital download), "Swing to it" from TGF's Wild Things -set, La*di*dah Clear Labels
Ink: printer ink
Coloring: Watercolor pencils, white Sakura Gel pen
Other: recycled satin ribbon

  7. Jaa-a. :D Mä olen kateellisena katsellut kaikkien tuollaisia kortteja. Kortteja olen tehnyt itsekin, mutta en noita tuon sorttisia. Pohdiskelen tässä, että mistä kannattaisi aloittaa, jos lähtisi tuotakin tapaa opettelemaan.

Hmm... Miten sinä tuon hommat aloitit? Onko sulla joku hyvä kirjasuositus tms.?

  8. WAU! Tää on tosi magee!
